Like every Australian woman, the Best Picks team has been lusting after designer brand Alemais’ prints and dresses for a while now.

Although each print is perfect for the summer months, they aren’t so kind for the back pocket, with plenty of the gowns setting you back $500 and then some.

So when I was browsing the web for alternative summer-inspired pieces I stumbled upon Seafolly’s Wish You Were Here collection which looks remarkably similar to some of the prints Alemais has made popular.

Take this One Shoulder Midi Dress as an example.

At $189.95, it’s more reasonably priced for the average Australian consumer and it’s filled with colourful sun and water motifs that will make a lightly tanned skin pop.

It could be dressed up or down depending on the event you’re attending and it’s made of up to 30 per cent silk.

If dresses aren’t your style, you could choose the matching scarf and trouser combination with the same print on it and pair your look with an In The Roundhouse table setting.

There are plenty of swimwear options in the Atoll Blue print but the accessories are catching my eye most of all.

The $69.95 Bucket Hat is wide enough to actually shield you from the harsh summer rays on the beach and will go perfectly with a white bikini.

The star of the show is the cotton Tote Bag, which at $99.95 is a steal for the size and durability of the bag.
