A man’s body has been discovered on a remote road near the historic Undoolya Station, east of Alice Springs, on Monday.

The territory’s oldest cattle station was expected to be closed overnight as police investigate the death, which is being treated as suspicious.

The body was discovered lying on Undoolya Rd, beyond the end of the sealed section of road, by a female driver about 12.30pm.

“The currently unidentified non-Indigenous man is believed to be between 20 and 40-years-old,” NT Police said.
