Police are investigating the death of an infant west of Ballarat overnight.
Emergency services attended an Alfredton home about 9pm on Saturday and found a three-month-old baby unresponsive.
Crews performed CPR, however, the child died at the scene.
It is understood there were reports of a domestic dispute at the address.

Police have cordoned off the street as they investigate the circumstances surrounding the child’s death.
