It’s common for our new year’s resolutions to focus on health and happiness, and despite what may happen in the month’s ahead, January always starts with the best intentions.

Which is why if fitness is on your list of resolutions you can still take advantage of the Boxing Day sales to snag a deal on equipment while stocks last.

Lifespan Fitness has greatly reduced its signature Pursuit 3 Treadmill, which is available at Myer for $616.55, down from $915. That’s a saving of 33 per cent.

The treadmill itself boasts a range of great features and is compact in its design, perfect to use as a weapon for cardio in your home.

You can track your progress and challenge yourself with speeds up to 16km, all controlled on the large LCD display.

“Take each step with confidence on the DuraGrip anti-static running belt and ShockControl cushioning system. Get a varied workout with 15 pre-set programs and three manual incline levels,” the website read.

The treadmill has been labelled an “ideal” purchase by fitness enthusiasts.

“Great price, fast delivery, arrived in good condition, easy to set up and use. If you’re looking for a cost effective, basic treadmill, this gets the job done fantastically,” one man wrote.

“My wife wants me to get in shape so we decided to get a Lifespan treadmill as we had a previous model which lasted for many years. Solid treadmill,” said another.

A third added: “I’ve been using my treadmill for a week now and am so happy with it. Onwards and upwards!”
